Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (Druk Green) is pleased to announce the following vacancies for appointment on Contract basis:

1. Position

Director, Corporate Affairs Department

Education Qualification

Should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with excellent academic track record

from recognized university (ies)/institution(s). A Master’s degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage.

DGPC Grade

E2

Total Monthly Consolidated  Pay (TMCP)

Nu. 90,300 (However, the salary shall be negotiable to the extent of protecting the current basic pay and then arrive at TMCP

Contract and Other allowance

     1. Base pay : 60% of TMCP  computed for pension contribution and  other statutory Deduction and Pension Fund Contribution. 

      2. Contract Allowance :40% of  TMCP

     3.  Performance Based Variable Allowance: 17.5%  of TMCP on annual basis subject to achievement of targets detailed below:

3.1    Team Appraisal System(TAS) – 7.5%  on achievement of  TAS targets 

3.2  Performance Based Variable Pay (PBVA) – 10% on achievement of annual compact signed with DHI

Appointment Status and Tenure

On contract for an initial period of three(3) years

Work Experience

Should have at least 15 years (including a maximum of 24 months for higher studies/sabbatical) of excellent and progressive track record with at least 3 years of work experience in formulation and implementation of business development and corporate strategies. A good understanding of the hydropower business and the regional energy markets will be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The candidate should have :

1.  Excellent technical, organizational, analytical, leadership and people management skills.

2.   Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in English and Dzongkha.

3.    Excellent inter-personal relationship capabilities and be able to maneuver through delicate situations and sustain cross-functional network.

2. Position
