Mangdechhu hydropower plant (MHP), located in Trongsa in central Bhutan, is a power plant (profit centre) of Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC). After its commissioning in 2019, MHP was handed over to DGPC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Druk Holding and Investments Limited, on December 27, 2022. MHP was jointly financed by the Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB) and the Government of India (GoI).

With the mandate to promote, develop and maintain major hydropower assets of Bhutan sustainably, DGPC also takes charge of 64 MW Basochhu HP, 336 MW Chhukha HP, 60 MW Kurichhu HP and 1,020 MW Tala HP. DGPC has shareholdings in Bhutan Automation & Engineering Limited (51%), Bhutan Hydropower Services Limited (100%), Dagachhu Hydro Power Corporation Limited (59%), Druk Hydro Energy Limited (100%), Kholongchhu Hydro Energy Limited (50%) and Tangsibji Hydro Energy Limited (100%).
