Embedded Generating Plants

Embedded generation – the distributed or local generating power plants – comprises of 24 mini/micro hydropower plants, one solar power plant, and one wind power plant. DGPC took over the operation, maintenance and development of these plants from Bhutan Power Corporation Limited in April 2022. The net value of the assets was Nu. 258,738,655.37 at the time of purchase.
