Bunakha Green Power Development Project: Draft Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) hereby discloses the Draft Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Bunakha Hydropower Project.
The ESIA has been prepared in accordance with applicable national regulatory requirements and the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Safeguard Policy Statement (2009) to assess the potential environmental and social impacts of the proposed project and to identify appropriate mitigation and management measures.
This disclosure is intended to provide project-affected people, interested stakeholders, and the general public with access to project information, and to invite comments and feedback during the 120-day disclosure period, in order to promote transparency and informed participation throughout the project preparation process.
